At the beginning of this month we wondered how long we could continue to keep our farm gates open, and to be honest, we were worried. It's hard to look into the innocent faces of our rescued farm animal residents each day and wonder how long we can continue to provide them sanctuary.
But we have been literally blown away by your love and support, and the generous donations received by hundreds of our supporters this month during our "Help Us Stay" campaign. Reaching our initial target just after mid month - we set a further target knowing that could help us both continue to upgrade existing facilities for the residents, and also be able to rescue more farm animals.
Each day in June we profiled one of our beloved residents, outlining their stories before coming to FAR. And apart from the fact that FAR residents have beaten the odds in being rescued, these are the same stories of millions of farm animals just like them in Australia today.
