We became aware of Murray when we were contacted by supporters on the Sunshine Coast who alerted us that he was to be auctioned off by the animal shelter there, most probably heading for the slaughterhouse.
We contacted the shelter and were delighted that they agreed to surrender Murray to us, so that he could avoid slaughter.
Murray is a large cream and black Murray Grey bull. He has the sweetest face, which belies the fact that he is a huge and powerful creature.
We are so glad that we were able to give Murray a home, and a herd to live with, and that he will get to live out his life in peace.
