Lucky lamb rescued from sale yard after losing mum
Happy 4th rescue anniversary Davis 🐑. You were so lucky to be rescued from the Victorian winter in August 2018 by our FAR investigation team. It broke our heart to discover so many newborn lambs - born to mums not afforded any shelter to protect their tiny babies - literally frozen to death. We will never understand how this can be considered acceptable 'wastage'. But we were able to rescue you and will keep you safe and warm forever at sanctuary.
What is also wonderful is that we do not need to wait a moment more to help protect lambs just like Davis, through the choices we make each and every day.
